Installation Tool
The Modular Jumper Installation Tool is designed to ease the subsea installation
of electrical and hydraulic jumpers. The tool consists of a support frame with
mud mats and removable baskets. The frame can accommodate baskets of different
configurations and sizes. Its dimensions enable the frame to be utilized from
small vessels, such as supply boats. Easy and safe on-shore handling and forklift
transportation. The frame also supports MQC parking places and mounting interface
for dynamic positioning instruments. Reusable modular baskets ensure that the
overall tool can be deployed on most missions. The Pre-packaged baskets can be
used as storage crates, keeping pre-installation work to a minimum. Each basket
is easily mounted on the frame and secured with two bolts.
