Anguila High Power Changeover Switch (HPCS)
Designed for switching of 3 phase electrical power between two high voltage high
power consumers; typically, pump motors or pipe heating systems installed subsea.
The remotely controlled unit has a simple and rugged design to enable an easy
adaptation to the various subsea applications. The switching sequence is only
to take place in power off mode with no voltage on the input cable.
The hydraulic/mechanical switching system is designed to ensure that the power
switch remains in the same position if hydraulic pressure is lost (“fail as is”).
